Saturday, November 20, 2010: 10:10 a.m.

Maggie (Austin, TX): "Gumbo and vanilla tea: brunch of champions. Today marks the beginning of the 2 week crunch before classes are over and finals are due - that equates to not enough time for anything, and drinking lots of caffeine. I cannot wait to go home for the holidays :)"

Megan (Bloomington, IN): "Today began as cold and foggy. It's a good thing I have hot chocolate, music, and colorful leaf decorations!"

Gretchen (Shreveport, LA): "I work at a local independent bookstore on Saturdays. It's a fun job, and when business is slow, I can read or do homework or whatever I want. This is my view from the register."

Wednesday, November 17, 2010: 10:10 a.m.

Maggie (Austin, TX): "I've started wanting to do crosswords again lately, so I decided to pick up The Daily Texan to see how difficult it was. Lets just say I needed some help after not getting too far. It was still fun to do the sudoku for the day and take a quick break from work."

Megan (Bloomington, IN): "I'm convinced that my school's building (SPEA) has the ugliest exterior on IU's campus, but I really like how the inside has an open center where people can come together to study and talk. It's like a real collaborative SPEA community!"

Gretchen (Shreveport, LA): "I spent most of Wednesday in the library working on a classroom management plan for school. It has a lot of different parts, so I made a checklist for it. It's really not that exciting. And by the time this picture is posted, it still won't be done."

Wednesday, November 10, 2010: 10:10 p.m.

Megan (Bloomington, IN): "I read through some articles about Chinese climate change laws for my group's paper, which will compare US and Chinese climate change laws and policy. Naturally, I volunteered to write the Chinese section of the paper!"

Gretchen (Shreveport, LA): "That lovely fuchsia stuff in the bowl is none other than beet hummus. So delicious. My friend made it and we ate the entire bowl between the two of us while sipping tea (decaf, of course). It was a lovely way to spend a Wednesday night."

Maggie (Austin, TX): "I've been very busy these past few weeks with work and group projects and research papers so much so that my roommate claims to not recognize me anymore. This Wednesday night, I was on campus with my group working on our Culture Audit assignment way past 10:10pm. Here's the view from where I was sitting..."

Saturday, November 6, 2010: 10:10 p.m.

Megan (Bloomington, IN): "Last night at around 10:10, I tried to get my roommate's dog Molly to play with me. However, clearly molly wanted to go outside and kept staring at Natalie until she let her out!"

Gretchen (Shreveport, LA): "I failed to bring my camera to the wine and cheese party I attended on the night that the other girls took their pictures. My picture from the following morning is reminiscent of that night, however, as I refilled a water bottle yet again... I guess I let my night dehydrate me a little bit."

Maggie (Austin, TX): "This weekend was my department's big semester program, The CHANGE Institute. 40 undergrads voluntarily attended and together we talked about social justice issues in current events (The Dream Act, Muslims in America, and the recently publicized LGBTQ bullying and suicides). My pic is of some of the buttons we gave to our students as tokens to remember to be the change they wish to see in the world."

Saturday, October 30, 2010: 10:10 p.m.

Maggie (Austin, TX): "Lone Star is the national beer of Texas - just ask any billboard you see around Austin, and they'll set you straight. Halloween was lots of fun with my friends and the aforementioned national beer by our sides. I acted like Julia Child all night, telling everyone what I'd be cooking later on. This little house party was a nice break from school work, but now its the last month of the semester, eek!"

Gretchen (Shreveport, LA): "I went to see Shreveport Opera's production of Don Giovanni. I grew up going to symphony concerts and operas all the time, but I had never seen this one. I loved it a lot. I had to take this picture a little after 10:10, immediately after the opera ended, because I couldn't just mess with Mozart. Brilliant."

Megan (Bloomington, IN): "Saturday night I went to see the opera Little Women. I honestly was not a fan of the show - the music was too strident, the plot was slow, and the songs were too reflective and repetitive. My friends and I went home and watched the movie to make ourselves feel better. At least we got to dress up and see the cool building!"
